Remedy Editorial is more than just the intersection of gear and couches. Our crew is committed to providing you with a quality product and a fun experience.

Katrina Nazzal, Post Producer
As producer at Remedy, Kat combines that rare combination of technical post-production experience with a positive "we can make it happen" attitude.

Katrina has a deep background in film and video post-production, including managing telecine operations and producing for multiple facilities within San Francisco. She draws on her creative, technical and managerial experience to guide your project from start to finish.

Sara Deneweth, Post-Production Manager
Sara oversees the workflow of the post-production process to ensure it runs smoothly. She assembles the post-production team, matching the right artists and tools for the project's need.

Sara is another dual threat talent. She combines a killer organizational skill set with a serious artistic and grammatical sensibility that allows her to pinch-hit on projects and lend a hand to make sure that the end result exceeds everyone's expectations.

Sara graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Environmental Policy. She has a diverse background in political campaign management, non-profit arts organizations, and graphic design.

Chris Valente, Post-Production Assistant
As the newest member of the Remedy team, Chris brings a wide range of experience to the table.  Having worked on documentaries, student films, Independent features, as well as corporate events and media, he can provide a wealth of assistance to help your project to completion.

Chris graduated from Castleton State College in Vermont, majoring in Communication with a concentration in Mass Media.  After which, he packed everything he owned into a pick-up truck and drove west.

When he’s not working at Remedy, Chris enjoys seeing live music and shopping for records.

Scott Compton , Founder and Director
Remedy Editorial is all Scott's fault.

Scott is one of the most in-demand directors of live event media. With his eye for rich imagery and editorial skill, Scott creates dynamic cutting-edge films that flow effortlessly. You can find out more about Scott at scottcompton.com.

Scott founded E2 Editorial in Emeryville in 2000. His goal was to create a personal post cocoon, where his client's projects could live on the box as long as needed to make them just right.

To hear Scott tell it, what directors want is not more money, but more time: time to make their projects perfect, time to let a good idea bubble to the surface.

Along the way technology evolved, new people were brought in to collaborate and other producers and directors began calling. Spend some time with Scott, and you'll see how much he enjoys providing the environment for your projects as much as his own.

Scott graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in film.

Jeffrey Boyette, Post-Production Assistant
As Remedy's in-house assistant, Jeffrey is ready and waiting to meet a wide variety of post-production needs, ranging from digitizing footage to delivery of up to 10 lattes at a time from the corner cafe.

Jeffrey developed an interest in film and video while in high school, which led him from his hometown of Sebastopol, CA to San Francisco where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema from San Francisco State University.

Since then Jeffrey has co-directed a short documentary on tourism and conservation in Costa Rica and has been helping to ensure that Remedy post-productions operations continue to run smoothly. Jeffrey is also an avid cyclist and juggler.

Sean Holt, IT Manager
As the Information Technology Consultant at Remedy, Sean works behind the scenes to drive and maintain fast, secure and reliable technology solutions, which power state-of-the-art editing suites, secure valuable client data, and optimize time-sensitive client reviews.

Sean fuses patience, a love for tinkering and unrivaled responsiveness to deliver the right piece of technology for Remedy staff and clients to be successful.
